The CU men’s basketball team won their 2nd round matchup today 67-60 against 8th seeded West Virginia. CU felll behind by 13 in the first half but roared back in the 2nd half, largely behind a 15-0 run. Post Malone was dominant today with 14 pounds and 4 rebounds, RJ Smith had 13 points, and Andrej Jakimoski had 11 points and 6 boards. In a brutal season that we’ve largely avoided writing about because it’s been, well, depressing — we’re going to give the boys their due for not throwing the towel in.
